We design every poster around a single focal point — the headline, the hero image, the date — sized and placed so it lands from across the street or the room, then arrange the supporting detail so it rewards a closer look without crowding the main message. Whether it’s a one-off for an event or part of a wider campaign, each poster is created as original artwork to print specification, not dropped into a stock template, so it looks deliberate at any size.

Your order includes professional poster layout and artwork prepared for the size you choose — anything from A4 up to A0, portrait or landscape. Final files are supplied as print-ready CMYK PDFs at the correct resolution for large-format printing, with proper bleed and safe-area, so nothing important is trimmed and the artwork stays sharp scaled up. Two revision rounds are included, so you can review the proof and refine it before final approval, and your finished files stay in your portal to re-download whenever you need a reprint or a different size.

The best posters share a few things, whatever the business. One focal point — the eye needs somewhere to land first, so we lead with the single strongest element. Strong hierarchy — headline, supporting detail and any call to action in a deliberate order, sized for the viewing distance. Contrast that carries — bold enough to read from across a room, not just up close on a screen. Room to breathe — white space stops a large format feeling cluttered and keeps it legible. And built for scale — type, image resolution and colour all chosen so the poster looks as sharp at A0 as it does on a monitor. We design to these principles by default, so your poster works on a wall, not just in a preview.

We design to every standard UK poster size, and the right one depends on where it’s going. A4 suits counter notices, noticeboards and shop windows where space is tight. A3 is the everyday all-rounder — big enough to notice, easy to display. A2 steps up for window displays and busier spaces where it needs to compete. A1 is a true large-format presence for events, foyers and high-footfall spots. A0 is maximum impact — exhibition stands, hoardings and statement displays. Portrait or landscape, we’ll advise the orientation and size that suits where the poster will actually hang — tell us the spot and we’ll recommend the format. That’s part of the job, not an extra.

Large format is unforgiving — anything blurry or low-resolution shows up far more at A1 than it ever would on a flyer. We build poster artwork at the correct scale and resolution from the start, so the finished file prints crisp at full size rather than soft or pixelated. If you’re supplying images, we’ll tell you early whether they’re high enough resolution for the size you want, and our basic image clean-up add-on can sharpen or tidy a logo or photo that’s not quite print-ready. The aim is simple: what looks good on your screen should look just as good ten feet up on a wall.

Getting a poster moving is straightforward. Tell us the size and orientation, where it’s going to be displayed, and the one thing it most needs to say — the event, the offer, the message.
