Brochure Design

A brochure lives or dies on flow — the order pages appear in, what each spread does, and how the reader is carried from cover to contact details. We plan that journey first: the cover earns the open, the early pages set out who you are, the middle does the explaining, and the close drives the next step. Then we design each spread to carry its weight while feeling part of one document. Every brochure is created as original artwork to print specification — set up for the correct page count, imposition and binding — not a slideshow exported to PDF, so it works as a printed object you’d be glad to hand over.

Your order includes professional multi-page brochure layout and artwork for the size and page count you choose — from a 4-page A5 up to a 24-page A4, square or DL. Final files are supplied as print-ready CMYK PDFs at 300dpi, set up correctly for multi-page printing with proper bleed, safe-area and page order, so your printer can run it without queries. Two revision rounds are included across the whole document, and your finished files stay in your portal to re-download for reprints or updates. Need help sequencing the pages? The best brochures share a few things. A cover that earns the open — one clear idea and image, not a contents list. A logical flow — pages in an order that mirrors how someone decides, not how your org chart is arranged. Consistent spreads — a repeating grid and type system so it feels like one document, not a folder of designs. Room to breathe — white space and clear hierarchy so dense information stays readable. And a clear close — the brochure should end by telling the reader exactly what to do next. We design to these by default, so your brochure informs and persuades in equal measure.

We design every standard UK brochure format. A5 is the popular all-rounder — substantial but easy to post and hand out. A4 gives more room for images and detail, ideal for prospectuses and corporate documents. DL suits a slim, rack-friendly brochure. Square (148mm) feels modern and brand-led. A6 is a compact pocket option. Page counts run from 4 up to 24 in multiples that suit print binding. Not sure how many pages your content needs? With a multi-page document, sequence is everything — the same content in a different order can read clearly or fall flat. We plan the page flow before design: cover, introduction, the body sections in a deliberate order, and a close that drives action. If you’re not sure how to structure it, the page-flow/contents planning option lets us map the running order with you up front, so you’re approving a structure before any pages are designed. It saves revision rounds later and means the finished brochure leads the reader rather than leaving them to find their own way through.

A brochure needs a bit more preparation than a single-page piece, but we’ll guide it. Tell us the size, rough page count and what the brochure is for. Send your text (or notes), logos, brand colours and any images; if images aren’t high enough resolution for print, we’ll flag it early. You don’t need it all polished — send what you have and we’ll tell you what’s missing. And you don’t need everything ready to order: place the order, then build up the content and brief in your portal as you go.
