About banner stand design

A roller banner works vertically and at a glance — people read the top from across a room and the detail up close, so the design has to be built for how the eye travels down a 2-metre stand. We lead with the headline and brand at the top where they’ll be seen over heads and crowds, keep the key message in the middle at standing-eye level, and leave the lower third clear so it isn’t hidden behind a desk or table. We create professional banner stand artwork for exhibitions, events, shop floors, receptions, gyms and venues across the UK, in every standard pull-up size. Every banner is supplied as print-ready files at full scale and the right resolution, so it stays sharp at two metres and you can send it to any printer.

More about banner stand design

Banner stand design for your sector

We design banner stands for businesses of every kind. Open the one closest to yours to see how we approach it — and where to go for wider materials.

Sports & Clubs

Gyms and clubs use banners for membership drives, class timetables, open days and sponsor walls. We build them to read from across a busy floor — strong brand at the top, the offer at eye level — so they pull attention without a member having to stop and squint.

Entertainment & Nightlife

Venues and event organisers use banners for entrances, foyers and sponsor backdrops. We design for atmosphere and impact — bold enough to set the tone as people walk in, clear enough to carry the line-up, dates or branding that matter.

Cafés, Restaurants & Bars

A new menu, a launch, a happy-hour or an event — a banner by the door or pavement pulls passing trade in. We make the offer clear and the food or drink look good at standing distance. For menus, table signs and the wider set, see our hospitality print design.

Retail & Shops

Sales, launches, new collections and in-store promotions all benefit from a banner that directs footfall and frames the offer. We design on-brand stands that suit your shopfront and read instantly. Part of a wider retail print toolkit if you need matching pieces.

Salons & Beauty

A treatment launch, a seasonal promotion or a reception backdrop — salon banners should feel as premium as the space. We design clean, polished artwork that looks considered by the door or behind the desk, never cluttered. See our salon & beauty print design for the full set.

Tourism & Attractions

Attractions, exhibitions and visitor sites use banners at entrances, ticket desks and event spaces. We design for high-footfall display — a strong image that sells the experience, clear wayfinding or messaging, built to stay sharp at full size where presence matters.

Banner Stand Design FAQs

What kinds of banner stands can you design?

Roller (pull-up) banners for exhibitions, events, receptions, shop floors, gyms, salons, open days and product launches. If it’s a standard pull-up stand, we design the artwork for it.

What banner sizes can you design?

Every standard UK roller banner size — 800, 850, 1000 and 1200mm wide, all 2000mm tall. Tell us your hardware and we’ll build the artwork to fit it.

Will the final artwork be ready for print?

Yes. You receive print-ready PDFs built at full scale and the correct resolution for large-format printing, with the bleed and safe-area your print supplier needs. You can send the files to any printer or banner supplier.

What affects the price of banner stand design?

Mainly the size and complexity, plus any extras in the configurator — additional banner versions, extra resizes for different stands, or an editable source file. The price updates live as you choose options, so you see the total before ordering.

My logo or image isn’t high resolution — is that a problem?

It can be, because large format magnifies any softness. Send what you have and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s sharp enough at two metres. Our basic image clean-up add-on can help tidy or sharpen artwork, and we’ll always flag a resolution issue before we start.

Can I order a set of matching banners?

Yes. Add extra versions in the configurator and we’ll design a coordinated set — for example three banners that share a look but carry different messages for an exhibition stand.

Are banner stands suitable for outdoor use?

Standard roller banners are designed for indoor use. If you need an outdoor banner, tell us and we’ll advise on artwork suited to outdoor media — the design principles differ, so it’s worth flagging up front.

What file types do I receive?

A print-ready PDF built at the correct scale and resolution for your banner size. Add the editable/source file option in the configurator if you’d like the working file too.

Do you print the banners?

No — we design the artwork and supply print-ready files. You’re free to use any printer or banner supplier you like, which keeps you in control of hardware, finish and cost. Your files stay in your portal for reprints.
