Frequently asked questions

Find answers to common questions about ordering artwork, proofs, revisions, file sending and portal access.

Ordering

How do I place an order?

Choose the artwork you need on the homepage, set the basics in your basket, and complete checkout. You can upload files and brief later in your portal.

Do I need everything ready before I order?

No. You can place your order first and add files, content and notes in your portal once you have them ready.

Can I order multiple items at once?

Yes. Add as many services as you need to your basket and check out in a single order.

How does the basket work?

The basket is where you set the practical details for each item — size, pages, fold, sides or quantity — before checkout.

Is payment secure?

Yes. Printvine uses Stripe Checkout, a secure hosted payment page designed for online payments.

Turnaround

How fast is turnaround?

First proofs for single-item orders are typically ready within 24–48 hours of your brief being complete. Larger orders are scheduled on review.

When does the turnaround clock start?

It starts when your brief, content and files are complete — not when you place the order.

What affects turnaround time?

Brief completeness, number of items, complexity and how quickly you respond to proofs all affect the timeline.

Can I get a faster turnaround?

Yes, priority turnaround is available as an add-on at checkout on most services. Same-day slots are also offered where capacity allows.

Files and uploads

What file types can I upload?

Logos (AI, EPS, SVG, PDF, high-res PNG), photos (JPG, PNG, HEIC), documents (PDF, DOC, DOCX) and ZIP for multiple files.

What if my logo is low resolution?

Upload what you have and we'll let you know. In some cases we can clean it up; in others we'll recommend supplying a vector version.

How do I upload files after checkout?

Log in to your portal, open the job and use the Files area. You can also message the team if you have questions about a specific file.

How long are my files kept?

Final files remain available in your portal for an extended period after completion so you can re-download whenever needed.

Proofs and revisions

How does proofing work?

When your proof is ready, you'll get a notification. View it in your portal, then approve or request changes — all in one place.

How many revisions are included?

Two revision rounds are included as standard. Extra rounds can be added as a paid add-on if needed.

What should I check before approving a proof?

Check spelling, prices, phone numbers, dates, logos and any details that affect the printed result — those are what to catch before approval.

Can I request more revisions?

Yes. If you've used your included rounds, additional rounds are available as a paid add-on at any point.

Final files

What are print-ready files?

Files prepared correctly for printing — typically PDF format, CMYK colour and 300dpi resolution, ready to hand to any printer.

What format are the final files?

Print-ready PDF as standard, with additional formats (JPG, PNG) provided for web/social use where applicable.

Where do I download my final files?

In your portal, on the job page. You'll get a notification when files are ready, and they remain available for re-download.

How long are files available?

Files stay in your portal for an extended period after completion, so you can come back and download them as needed.

Portal and account

What is the portal?

Your portal is where you manage every order — files, brief, proofs, messages and final downloads all in one place.

How do I access my portal?

Log in with the email you used to order. You can set or reset your password from the login screen at any time.

Can I message the designer?

Yes. Each job has a built-in messages tab so questions and answers stay attached to the right project.

What if I forget my password?

Use the reset link on the login page. You'll get an email to set a new password — usually within a couple of minutes.
